Albert Victoria is an artist and illustrator born in Aranjuez, Madrid (Spain).  He considers himself a “neo-Victorian” artist, as his goal is to bring back the nostalgia, delicacy, and charm of images from the Golden Age of Illustration.

His studies in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid and his specialization in editorial illustration have led him to develop a love for classical art and literature.

His work as a studio assistant and color technician for a major international artist has given him the ability to work with complex color palettes and achieve great precision in the details of a work.

His art draws on both 19th-century academic painting and 20th- and 21st-century artists such as Edward Gorey, George Barbier, Tim Burton, and Benjamin Lacombe. He has a special interest in portraying the beauty of dark stories and characters, as well as defending the art of mystery, the occult, and the Gothic fantasy.

His first work as an independent author and illustrator, “The Scarlet Envelope” (2025), shows his enthusiasm for creating a mysterious atmosphere where readers can immerse themselves and form their own reflections on the story.
